Beautiful pair of olive wood, green/orange glass and copper beads bracelets with matte black gemstone and a single fool's gold bead.

Unique and handmade. Available in a range of sizes for women or men. Please state required size: 15cm, 16cm, 17cm, 18cm, 19cm, 20cm.

This unique, hand-made bead bracelet is made with high quality natural 8mm olive wood beads - handmade by craftsmen in Bethlehem. The wood shows beautiful dark stripes and grains. Beads are strung with robust clear stretch cord.

Sustainable olive wood

These olive beads are made by Bethlehem craftsmen from the prunings of olive trees. Pruning the tree encourages new growth and is important for the health of the tree and for olive crops. No tree was damaged or destroyed during harvesting of the wood.

Symbolism

The olive tree has great symbolism: the tree of Athena, mighty goddess of Wisdom is a symbol of prosperity and abundance. Use the leaf of Olive tree to bring balance between you and the earth

To find the size that’s right for you, take an accurate measurement of your wrist and add between a quarter to half an inch (1cm to 2cm) depending on how close fitting you prefer it to be. As a general guide, if this is a gift for someone, women’s wrists are 7” (17cms) approx and men’s 8” (20cms) approx.

These beautiful olive wood beads bracelets were inspired by the story of the green sustainable olive wood which comes from the prunings of Holy Land olive trees. Pruning the trees keeps them healthy and strong, prolonging the life of the tree. The prunings are then carved into beautiful wooden beads by Bethlehem craftsmen. It's good to know these bracelets support their work and contributes to healthy trees!
