This gold damask tote bag featuring an elephant design pocket and turquoise lining with more pockets will really stand out from the crowd when you are out shopping. I designed it using fabrics that though never used may otherwise have ended up in landfill. It has vintage button detailing to one handle, using buttons from my mum’s old button tin.

The handles are designed to be held comfortably in the hand, over the forearm or over the shoulder if the bag not too full! The bag is large enough to comfortably fit a good amount of shopping without becoming too heavy and unwieldy.

- Size approx 46x32cm with shaping to the base to allow for easier use.
- Gold faux silk damask outer featuring elephant tapestry cotton blend pocket with turquoise lining.
- Turquoise cotton lining with 2 small pockets
- Gold faux silk damask handles with cotton ribbon.

I try to reduce, reuse and recycle as much as I can, the fabrics used in this bag are all rescued and reloved. After having spent several years travelling to and from India I love elephants and one of my favourite trips was visiting a sanctuary for elephants rescued from the logging industry. India also gave me a love of bright fabrics as used in this bag.
