This lovely little pendant is remarkably heavy. It weighs 14.1g. It reminds me of a little handbag! It has been made from silver scraps, which have been melted and reformed, using a piece of tree bark. In a neat touch, the bark came from a 100 year old tree that was felled last year near my home. I collected a lot of scraps, and am slowly using them up. I am making only 1 item from each piece of bark, so it will be unique.

The result is that this pendant has two very different sides. The front has a striped effect, the back has a mottled uneven, organic texture. It comes on a 16in chain, but I can swap this if required for a different length at no extra charge. Just let me know when you make the purchase.

I am a registered maker with the Edinburgh Assay Office, and this piece carries my personal PG stamp, as well as the Edinburgh Assay stamps.

The piece is approx 3cm from top to bottom and 2cm at its widest point. It will come in the small bag shown, free postage in the UK

Some time ago I went for a walk near my home, and an old tree had recently been felled. So I retrieved quite a few pieces of bark, and I am slowly working my way through them.
