The moon features in my work and I felt a bowl with the moon nestling in the centre would be a lovely image. The softness of the painting lends it an ethereal quality to it, it is glazed and fired in my studio. The bowl is for decorative purposes only as it is handmade and not mass produced and therefore the underneath is bisque and not glaze. All bowls being handmade have their own unique shape and I feel this adds to the charm and quirkiness of a handmade piece of art. This is a one-off piece of art.
