This design is of my usual football posters with a twist. In 1994 a BBC2 comedy called 'The Day Today' hit our screens and introduced many to a sports presenter by the name of Alan Partridge. The rest is history, but a certain World Cup Countdown sketch has always had me in stitches ever since.
This version depicts the fantastic long range strike by Belgium star Enzo Scifo against Uruguay in a 3-1 win for The Red Devils at the 1990 World Cup in Italy.
The title of the book “Shit! Did you see that? He must have a foot like a traction engine” is taken from the legendary commentary by Alan Partridge.
Each poster will be posted in a sturdy postal tube to ensure safe delivery to your home.

I wanted to create some inspiring art for sport fans to hang on their walls. The idea was to design something that the fan would instantly recognise but also be appealing to a non-fan. The classic book cover posters offer an elegant addition to any sport loving household.
