Item details

Bespoke and handmade; a unique way to record and display the details of a wedding. The cushion would also make an ideal christening gift or a very special birthday present.

A collection of 9 machine appliquéd squares carefully pieced and machine quilted. Personalised with the couple’s name, the date of their marriage, wedding venue etc. For a new baby or christening, personalised details could include the baby’s name, date of birth, time of birth, weight, house number etc.

Pictures to choose from include: heart, church, wedding cake, horseshoe, wedding bells, balloons, weights, house, clock, car, bird, star, snowflake, kite, teddy bear, dog, icecream, umbrella, baby feet, apple, flower, and more!

The cushion shown above is 18" (45cm) square.

This cushion is made from cotton fabrics and cotton batting and is machine quilted with simple straight line quilting.

The cushion cover has a zipper opening along the bottom edge and will be supplied with a duck feather cushion pad.

Colours can be selected to coordinate with your wedding theme or with the colour scheme of the room where the cushion will be displayed, nursery colour scheme etc and pictures can be chosen to tell your unique story.

Please note that this cushion is a decorative item and is, therefore, not washable. It can be ironed to remove creases before it is displayed.

Postage to the UK is via second class Royal Mail. Please ask for an overseas postal rate if required.
I reuse packaging for postage wherever I can to minimise waste and keep costs down.

Many of the items available in my shop can be made to order in a colour of your choice at no extra cost, just message me with your request.

This cushion was created as an alternative to the baby wall hanging (also listed in my shop).

The colour scheme of the wedding was navy and tartan. The tartan hearts in the cushion are made from the family tartan of the couple getting married.

I love making these bespoke items, discussing colour and picture choices, choosing fabrics, and deciding on the layout. It is so satisfying to create a totally unique piece each time.
