I have designed and created this special necklace using two of the rarest natural gemstones. The Russian Chrome Diopside are faceted pear cuts with exceptional colour and clarity graduating in size. The Ethopian Wello Opals are cabochon roundels which also graduate in size. Between each gemstone change I have incoperated tiny 'gold vermeil' beads. The term gold 'vermeil' can only be used legally when gold is overlayed on 925 sterling silver.
I have constructed the item using professional coated stainless steel jewellers wire for added strength and lasting durability, finished off with a vermeil clasp and extender chain. The necklace finished length is 17" inches (43ms).
This item will probably appeal to the professional working lady to wear on a daily bases without it being over ostentatious, or as a special gift for a true gemstone collector whom appreciates and values a gemstones rarity, and its costs whilst enjoying individuality in their choice of jewellery to wear.
The item is ready to be dispatched within 24 hours of receiving payment, delivered by Royal Mail Special Deliver Next Working Day service. It will come presented in a lined gift box.

Demelza Designs has been accredited by the largest prestigious 'National Association of Jewellers' having met their vigorous vetting prosses and standards of quality expected in 2015.
Russian Chrome Diopside is now extremely rare to obtain within the gemstone industry worldwide. The gemstone is mined for only a few weeks each year during the exceptionally cold Siberian 'summer. Each year fewer miners retrieve this beautiful natural mineral making it extremely expensive to purchase when available.
The Ethopian government banned the natural rough being exported making it impossible to obtain. It is recognised worldwide as some of the finest opal available for it's natural vibrant colours. I have tried to show it's natural colours, but opals are notoriously difficult to photograph.
The gemstones stipulated have been ethically sourced and tested by qualified GIA gemstone gemoligists by my supplier's based in the UK.
