Vintage 1970’s Liberty fabric purse for headphones, keepsakes, cosmetics or coins.
This wonderful vintage Liberty fabric from the 1970’s, has a washed out, faded feel. Perfect for small cosmetics, money, or for keeping your headphones tangle free. It is practical as well as rather lovely.
It is hard to believe that this design was created 40 odd years ago, and is a classic Collier Campbell design for Liberty. Its pastel, painterly look gives it a surprisingly contemporary feel.
Its width is 16cm.
The depth is 12cm.
It closes with a pale pink zip measuring 16cm.
It is lined with a faded roses pattern fabric.
There is a finger hook, so you can hang it up and admire the design in its own right.
It is finished off with my own embroidered label.
Please wash gently in cool water, leave to dry naturally, and iron whilst slightly damp.
I like to reuse where possible. Your bag will be posted out to you packaged in clean, recycled wrapping.
It will be sent out by Royal Mail 2nd class with proof of posting. This takes about 3 working days.
I feel privileged when I spot a piece of original, old, Liberty fabric crumpled in the corner of a second hand shop. Although this had seen some life, I think its washed out pastel feel only adds to its charm. There is a matching tote bag in this fabric also in my shop.
