Rustic bookmarks made of imitation leather and natural twine.

Each has a charm displaying a wild flower / foliage design in terracotta clay , mounted on a slice of silver birch branch.

The leatherette piece marks your page while the charm hangs over the front of the book to hold it in place.

I made these by pressing wild flowers , twigs and grasses into terracotta clay. Once dried , I painted them with glass paints and rubbed over a metal pigment to give
the sheen. They were then varnished and mounted on to slices of a branch of silver birch.
