Here is a great zip up pouch or make up bag, screen printed with a folk art design of a pretty couple wearing regional dress from Bohuslan, Sweden. Between them is a lovely
Honeysuckle, the floral emblem of this province, making it a perfect wedding present. Made from a softly faded vintage Swedish tablecloth, the words hand printed in Sweden can just be glimpsed along the bottom edge. It has a lovely washed out palette, and would make a great gift for an admirer of mid century modern, Scandi or Swedish design.

The bag has been stitched onto cotton, but it is still soft.
It measures 17 cm across
It measures 19 cm down
There is a 17 cm white zip fastening
The lining is a 1970s strongly patterned cotton in mustard and brown
There is a lovely couple in regional dress from Bohuslan screen printed onto the front, which makes it a perfect little wedding present.
The back is made of recycled and faded blue denim to give it some edge, and I have given it a finger hook so you can hang it up, and admire this sweet design.
I have finished off with my own embroidered name tag.

I am a recycling nut! Your little bag will be posted out creatively wrapped in clean, recycled packaging. It will be posted out as Royal Mail 2nd class with proof of posting, which takes 3 working days.

What a lovely find at a table top sale.This screen printed vintage Scandi tablecloth designed by Brit B may have seen one too many dinners, but there were enough good fragments for a series of pouches.This is the fourth one! There is a pretty pouch from the Swedish province of Sodermanland also available in my shop right now.
