Celebrate the arrival of your baby with a beautiful bespoke, handmade wall hanging.
A unique way to record and display the details of your baby's birth. This wall hanging would also make an ideal christening gift or a very special 1st birthday present.

A collection of 12 machine appliquéd squares carefully pieced and machine quilted. Each picture telling the story of the newborn baby and their family. Personalised with the baby's name, date and time of birth, weight, house number etc.

Pictures to choose from include: balloons, weights, house, clock, car, bird, star, snowflake, kite, teddy bear, dog, icecream, umbrella, baby feet, apple, flower, and more!

The item shown above is 24" (61cm) wide and 31" (79cm) long.
The size can be altered to fit your wall space and the price adjusted accordingly.

The wall hanging is made from cotton fabrics and cotton batting and is machine quilted with simple straight line quilting.

Colours can be selected to coordinate with your nursery colour scheme and pictures can be chosen to tell your baby's unique story.

Please note that this item is a decorative wall hanging and is, therefore, not washable. It can be ironed to remove creases before it is displayed.

I was honored when a good friend asked me to make a special gift for her first grandchild.
Inspired by the colour scheme of the baby's nursery, I set off down to the local fabric shop and came back with this selection of gorgeous cottons. I based the wall hanging on a cot quilt that I made for a relative 30 years ago. The original version was for a baby girl with a colour scheme of traditional pinks and lilacs heavily embellished with ribbons and lace.
I have had great fun updating and adapting the original idea to create this handsome, contemporary wall hanging.
