Lewis is one of three black cats who are runners. They are about 15 cm (6") high, have wire frames so are slightly posable, sewn felt bodies and vintage fabrics for their fabulous clothes.Of course, as soon as Lewis got his white, red-soled trainers it was obvious he wasn't going to get them muddy by going fell running.

He is strictly a decorative item, a mini-sculpture, and not a toy. A perfect present for the runner in your life.

I had to take a longer break than expected, back again on the edge of the lovely Lake District.

There are always rumours about big black cats running about in the countryside. I just had this idea to make one wearing shorts and trainers. As with all my animals, their personalities soon dictate the way they should look. He got his smart, vintage textile running top and gold shorts so he just had to have a gold chain to go with them.
