This handmade hosiery bag is perfect for keeping seamed stockings and tights safe. It is also suitable for smaller lingerie items.

When you store your tights or stockings in a drawer, this bag will keep them protected from other items that have hooks or velcro. This hosiery bag is ideal for travelling and will not clutter your suitcase.

Available in purple or blue, each kind has two compartments and is finished with a complimentary cotton lining and secured using satin ribbon ties.

If you are a fan of the 1940s and 50s vintage clothing, then this bag is a must, to protect your beautiful seamed stockings.

Product Information
- The lining and outer-fabric is 100% cotton with a country garden floral design.
- The wadding is made using soft, medium loft interfacing to give the bag shape.
- Plain satin ribbon ties (Purple bag has ribbed satin ribbon ties)

Caring For Your Hosiery Bag
Washing Instructions
- Wash no hotter than 40 degrees
- Wash with similar colours
- Iron with care on a cotton setting - use an ironing cloth to protect the fabric
- Hang out to dry, or tumble dry on a low/cool setting
- Make sure the bag is completely dry before using.

However, the problem with hosiery is snagging them on a fingernail, catching them on an item in the drawer or snagging them on the drawer itself.
I decided to design a better solution than storing tights and stockings in the bag in which they arrived.
I had previously purchased a stocking bag, but it was plain black and bland; I wanted something practical, yet pretty.

So, I decided to get creative and design my own colourful and easy to use hosiery/lingerie bags.

The moment I saw this fabric, it reminded me of a beautiful English country garden.
I had purchased the purple design and could not resist the blue version. I hope you like it too.
