When asked to define his idea of paradise, the late, great Johnny Cash said.."Coffee, in the morning, with her". Like us, he knew the importance of coffee. However, whether he knew the importance of having a great coffee table is another matter entirely. Luckily we do, so we are therefore proud to present to you, this pukka hand built coffee table!

This table is constructed from redwood pine and fresh scaffold boards. It is therefore a chunky, solid piece of furniture that will last for decades.

The frame of the table has been finished with a vintage white furniture paint, followed by two coats of wax. This serves to protect the paint work and also gives of a nice satin sheen when buffed. The table top was given two coats of Rustin's dark oak wood dye, and finished with four coats of danish oil. This also gives of a satin sheen, which is something we love about this protective sealer. The dimensions of the table are as follows:

Width and Length: 800mm
Height:438mm
Weight: approx 37kg

These dimensions were chosen to fit our specific requirements but like most of our furniture, we can build to a size that will suit you. This is also the case in terms of the finish, please consult the colour palette in the image section to view the available options.

After having gone through lots of flat-packed coffee tables over the years, we finally decided that we wanted something solid and sturdy after our latest one gave up the ghost. As is usually the case, we couldn't find one to fit the bill so we decided to make our own. A perfect opportunity to try out a new design for PukkaFurniture!
We wanted to build a table that wouldn’t look out of place in a farmhouse, whilst at the same time, would also look fresh and timeless. The build design, coupled with the chosen colour scheme, reflects this perfectly.
