Semi Precious Lapis Lazuli gemstones are very distinctive. They have such a deep, intense, dark blue that is unmistakable especially with the golden streaks of Pyrite that run through it. Add to that it's long history as a very revered gemstone, prized for it's intense colour, which has lasted for centuries past and still to come.

I adore Lapis and I love to work with it as a stand alone gemstone and sometimes pairing it up with other stones. In this design, I have let it take centre stage by using round and oval shaped beads to show it to it's best advantage. Gold spacer beads echo the Pyrite and the bronze in the Czech Crystals, add a little depth and a definite flash of colour to this unique necklace. An antique gold toggle clasp finishes this design.
