Long stool, duet stool, window seat, it's versatile, you decide...
Traditional style, possibly dating from around 1940
newly re-upholstered in linen-mix fabric with piping made from cotton hand-printed in Ghana with fabulous African ceramic buttons

Height max 58cm, width max 92cm, depth max 40cm, (quite high)

Small samples of the fabric can be sent for colour-matching.

The delivery charges I have quoted in the postage section are estimates. If courier charges are less than I have quoted then I will refund the difference to you.
You are very welcome to visit the studio (by appointment) and see the chairs and stools before making a purchase from me.
You are also welcome to collect your purchase from the studio, again, by appointment.
If you live within c 45 miles of DE1 I may be able to deliver the item myself at a reduced delivery charge.

I had to evict the antique dealer and his cup of coffee from this stool to have a look at it. I assumed it was a traditional English style because of the feet and legs but when I took off the stained old fabric and filthy stuffing I found the corners had been shaped with nice little labels in French, I guess the 'Queen Anne leg' travelled abroad ...

I have spent hours browsing the delights of www.africanfabric.co.uk and was so pleased when they started stocking a few upholstery weight cottons - and then found the buttons to match!

It has turned out alright I think, though I'm not sure Queen Anne would have approved, she'd probably have preferred a good brocade ... and a straight leg ...
