Cedar Ovoid Hollow form

This unusual shaped hollow form was reclaimed and created from wood destined for the bonfire.

The attractive colours and textures of the cedar wood make this a special and unique piece. The combination of the Blackwood finial cap and base serves to highlight the spalted lines and colours within the cedar.

The elegant form is 190mm tall overall with a diameter of 110mm.

Whilst this piece is unique (a much-used word on Folksy) in that it is a “limited edition of one“, made by me in my small workshop in Hampshire, there are similar items elsewhere in my shop.

This would make a lovely wedding or birthday gift or any other similar occasion or why not go mad and treat yourself?
