It is signed and titled in pencil by the artist.

This painting is inspred by a poem named Oread by H.D. - Hilda Doolittle (1886 -1961). In this vivid short poem H.D imagines ‘Oread (in Greek mythology a female nymph of the mountain or pine forest) calling up the sea and forests to merge.
