This is the perfect mug for a peaceful and loving moment with a lovely mug for of tea, coffee or hot chocolate.

Maybe it's for your wife, husband, Mum or Dad, son or daughter, best friend, sister, brother, Aunt or Uncle, neighbour, teacher, God daughter, niece or nephew . . . . . . . . . . the list is endless.

All my white mugs are slightly different.

On the side of the mug there is a lovely raised heart shape with the word 'Peace' stamped it and highighted in red glaze.

I threw this mug on the potter's wheel using a white stoneware clay. I then turned the base and added the handle and decoration before bisque firing the mug. I glazed it using a lovely transparent glaze and again fired it, this time to 1240C stoneware making it strong and durable.

I sign my pieces with the initials REJM. My parents gave me a long name and then called me by my last!

Peace is soooo important;
Important for the individual
and important for the nations.

We all have our favourite mugs. I even have a favourite mug for coffee, another for tea and another for peppermint tea. Some friends like the one with a thin rim, or the heavy one, the plain handle or the wide base. People can be quite protective over their mugs too.

I wanted to make a range of mugs for everyone. All of us are different, all of us are special - so are my mugs.
