Hobbit House - Night Light (battery operated tea light) a purple, green and multicolured polymer clay hobbit house with an internal glass jar as a base.

7.5" high and 3" in diameter from front step to back wall.
2.75" in diameter, side to side.

The main body of the hobbit house is decorated with multicoloured bunting, flowers, a grape vine and grapes, hearts and a bird box with a fence, mushrooms, ladybirds and caterpillars.

The roof has individual tiles made by Thuldohr's building merchant - which is located north of primrose woods, down by the creek and close to the old wise faerie's cottage. As a bonus, Thuldoh kindly engraved each one of tiles (what a lovely dwarf!.) This time I chose mainly flowers and leves with the odd flower here and there! There are also two mushroom and a roof window with flowers from the ledge.

Roof/Lid unscrews from main body of hobbit house to reveal a tiny battery operated tea-light which when lit in the evening, it flickers and changes colour which gives the impression of someone inside!

Please be aware that this hobbit house is a collectable ornament and not meant as a toy. It is therefore not suitable for children under the age of 14 due to small parts and a glass jar interior.

I grew up in Primrose woods, just north of the enchanted forest. Here I lived a magical life amongst the other faerie folk.
As tiny sprites, we were brought up on amazing tales of the mortal realm, that created a curiosity of what life would be like living amongst human beings. Last year I moved to a little seaside village in the southeast of England, to finally fulfill my dreams of being part of a mortal community.
Little did I realise, I would need money to live here and could no longer buy food by exchanging beans! How extraordinary! Although, I understand now that spells, magic dust, and faerie charms are exchangeable tender. :)
So, I began by making faerie houses, faerie doors, gifts and little trinkets to sell, inspired by my upbringing and the stories the elders told us about the mortal realm. All my faerie folk friends, elves, pixies and other magical beings helped me to make my trinkets and gifties. We had such fun, that continues to this day!
