I started making pre-printed and custom ribbons after i required my own to go around a homemade birthday cake. When i looked online I was extremely pleased to find that I could order such a ribbon with my custom message printed onto it but I soon found out that all of the supplies I came accross had a ridiculously large minimum print run. This meant that I would have enough ribbon to go around the middle of hundreds of cakes. Seeing a gap in the market for smaller print runs for everyday crafters and non wholesale customers, I duly decided to purchase some high quality equipment to test out the viability of such a business idea. After playing around with metres and metres worth of trial ribbon I found out that it was in-fact completely viable and so here I am now selling this ribbon on Folksy.
