A really fun, contemporary dish or plate or platter, whatever you want to call it, 12" square, clear glass decorated with glass "confetti" in random, abstract shapes, which create flower petals, and long strips of "stringers" for dancing stems! This plate makes me smile, and I believe it will make everyone smile! Load it with fruit, or cakes and biscuits for visitors, and as the plate empties, listen to the comments as people spot the decoration below!!

It takes many hours of painstaking work to create a fused glass dish of this kind..hours in the creation and hours in the kiln. No two pieces I make are ever quite the same, but there are other items in this range, if you like the idea of having similar pieces for a bit of continuity. I can also make other sizes of dish to "match" if requested...imagine having a whole set to put out at a party! Lively, fun, modern....and they will match any decor. Perfect for someone light-hearted, they remind me of Carnival time!

I paint. I make enamel on copper art pieces. And I fuse glass in a kiln, creating anything from a piece for the wall, to a piece in a stand, to a piece for your table. Glass can be colourful, fun, lively, soft, subtle, transparent, opaque - it satisfies on so many different levels and for so many different reasons, a magical substance indeed.
