Bring a feeling of the ocean into your home!

This glass representation of a breaking wave, 42cm x 24cm, has life and movement, you can almost feel the wind, smell the ocean and hear the crashing of the waves...yet it is made from pieces of art glass, lovingly designed and fused in a kiln into a panel of glass which can be viewed on a stand. Place on a windowsill to achieve the full transparency of the ocean, sunlight shining thro the water, or simply, on a dull day, just enjoy how it transmits the light thro , and feel the power of the ocean as it beats down upon itself. Beautiful blue and turquoise transparent glass contrasts with opaque white for the ocean foam.

A very unique, painterly piece, which can never be replicated and you will find nothing like it in a department store.

You can have the piece with a clear acrylic stand, or with two light oak "feet" as stands. Alternatively if you would like to place it on a wall, I can provide an explanation of how to do this using a couple of alternative methods, and can even arrange for it to be framed, at an extra cost however.

Once an award winning painter, I had to give up my painting for health reasons, and turned to glass making. Now, although I make many practical pieces in glass, I am finding myself creating more painterly pieces which can either go onto a wall, using special glass holders, or can be viewed in a stand, and my painter-self is reestablishing itself in a new medium, much to my delight!
