Each piece is made by layering and winding cotton and silk yarns around card to create a colourful and unique geometric design. The artwork is made by hand and mixes different colours to create a 3D look.

The artwork comes with a white mount and cellophane wrapped and is ready to be framed or to give as a gift. The piece fits a 5" square frame and the colour might slightly vary due to the photograph taken.

I work with yarn for its delicacy, vibrancy and texture. As a weaver I have always been fascinated with pattern and colour, playing with the yarn on a very small, delicate scale to create intricate design. I like to use the yarn as a material to create art in a very methodical and mathematical way. Each piece of artwork in made by hand by building and winding layers of coloured yarn around its base. This method is a by-product from my weaving background and I still enjoy experimenting and creating fabric on my small loom. The fabric that I weave is used for my jewellery pieces, with a focus on intricate patterns and colours.
