Lovely thin bookmarks made from locally sourced cherry wood and including an attractive grain figuration and slightly wavy edge to highlight its natural nature.

Hand made to include include sanding the piece through at least three sanding grades to achieve a fine finish.

Each item is lightly oiled with danish oil to add protection to the timber.

All edges are tapered in the sanding process as part of the overall finish that we want our Customers to experience.

A lovely gift that is ideal for anyone liking the feel and simplicity of wood. Wood is a lasting product and, with appropriate care, our bookmarks will give pleasure for years.

As all our items are individually made by us, the size of each piece varies. Typically, the length is between 140mm and 180mm; the width between 23mm and 40mm; the maximum depth between 2.5mm and 4mm. With the edges being tapered, the depth at the edges is tapered much finer than the maximum depth of the piece. Please do email us if you wish a specific size.

We make bookmarks in other woods, too….both single wood varieties and also multi wood varieties with the different woods joined together. We also make bookmarks with tassels at the end - these have light metal silver effect pendants (choose either a leaf, a rose or a bicycle). They are attached to the end of the bookmark with leather thong and beads to make a decorative piece.
