Hand woven by me in my Welsh studio, this colourful scarf - inspired by the rich colours of late flowering dahlias - has been made from a combination of my own hand spun yarns and yarns no longer needed by the fashion industry.
Its a vibrant mix of merino, alpaca, wool and acrylic yarns.
It is fabulously warm, cosy and soft. It will definitely keep you snug throughout the winter
Slowly made from recycled and sustainable yarns this truly unique scarf is perfect for brightening a dreary winters day.
This piece was woven on my Saori loom and follows the Saori style of weaving.
Saori is a free form weaving technique originating in Japan. There are no rules or boundaries to Saori weaving, and the weaver chooses whatever colours, techniques and fabrics they feel the artwork needs.
It is 9.5 x 74 inches (25 x 190 cm) with 5 inches (13 cm) of fringe at each end.
Easy care - hand wash & hang to dry. It will soften with each wash and wear.
