16 inch slim black leather necklace with a square spiral effect thick copper wire cable pendant that is just over a 1 inch drop. This piece is the first of many completely handcrafted pendants. Between 4 little beads that sit on the necklace (two silver plate and two red copper) this spiral pendant has been bent and hammered to look as raw and handmade as possible whilst still maintaining aesthetic beauty. The copper has been coated with Renaissance wax in order to slow down oxidisation and prevent blackening of the skin. What you get is a very pretty yet funky, handmade look so that you can tell that this is an authentic handcrafted design. This also means that this piece is unique! A little 'hand made' sign is what fishes this necklace off nicely.
Packaged in a baby blue organza pouch with ivory tissue.
COPPER has many healing qualities such as repairing tissue, oxygenating the blood, easing arthritis and strengthening the female reproductive system.

I always used copper at university whilst studying Woods, Metals, Plastics. It soon became my favourite metal to work with on a design level and also visually. It also has a lot of healing benefits. I really enjoyed making this pendant with thick copper cable and bashing it into its present form. I then worked into it so that it became a pretty piece of jewellery that has not been 'overworked' and therefore looks handmade. As it should!
