Elegantly shaped solid maple carving board, ideal for roast meat joints or any celebratory centrepiece. Features a groove around the entire perimeter and a small pool to allow you to collect and pour off any cooking juices that collect. Underside is recessed to make the board stable, yet easy to lift off the work surface and carry to the table.

All boards are finished with my own recipe food-safe conditioning wax, which will nourish and protect your board.

Hardwood is a natural product, and as such there will be variations in colouring, grain patterns and markings. This makes each board unique and is part of the charm of owning handcrafted solid wood furniture and accessories.

I've survived for years with a plastic carving board. Its looking pretty shabby now and doesn't look great as a centrepiece for the Sunday roast. So I made this board. Looks great, does the job well, and catches all the juices so they don't go everywhere. Whats not to like?
