Round copper stud earrings with blue, white and silver enamel and drawn detail.
Description
8mm copper studs with silver posts soldered in place. Dark blue enamel was applied first, followed by a white layer with hand drawn line detail. Fired in a kiln several times to melt the enamel. A further turquoise layer was washed over half the studs and a silver line drawn across by hand. Attached to a presentation card and delivered in a gift box with information about the enamelling process included.
Inspiration
I love to mix my drawing and my jewellery making. Drawing through the enamel creates a lovely one off, hand drawn finish.
