A kit for sewing two unique 6 inch (15cm) softies, an owl and a pussycat -or a maybe a couple of monsters…as you like. You end up with two softies completely unique to you. It would make a lovely gift or holiday activity and is ideal as a starter sewing project.
The shape is simple and full sewing lesson style instructions are included in a cute mini booklet (and a full size PDF if you want it). You can sew it all by hand; or by machine if you prefer or are learning to use one.

The KIT contains everything needed except scissors.
Two different vintage but unused fabrics, full size templates, filling (BS 5852)
A sweet paper replica of a vintage needle case, containing a needle and pearl headed pins.
Enough bits and bobs for plenty of design choice for two creatures; consisting of buttons, felt and extra pieces of vintage fabric, feathers, strands of wool and embroidery threads as shown in the photos.( They may vary slightly but will always be at least this amount and variety. I can send a photo of your “custom” kit if you wish; or the default sent will be golden “B” plus “A”, “C” or “D”.)

(Their boats money and honey are not included as mine need them.)
however the kit comes in an A4 white ,reusable box...great as a sewing box!

It is my passion to create things with textiles, which I hope to ignite in others as well.
I devised this kit for my workshops with children as a simple but imagination stretching introduction to sewing. I use some of my vintage, but never used, knit fabrics for easy sewing with interesting results, plus vintage buttons and oddments. I wanted something very easy, but with plenty of scope for them to create, so they could enjoy the process without having to reproduce a specific design.
It was so well liked I had home educator groups and parents asking for more to take home; and quite a few couldn’t resist making one themselves!
