Drypoint etching of poppies printed on Somerset satin paper using Cranfield inks. The print is presented in a white mount to fit a standard frame size of 8 x 10 inches in a sealed cellophane wrapper. The inking of drypoint plates results in subtle and unique prints of the same image. This is the only print in this colourway.

In the summer of 2017 there was the most beautiful display of poppies growing across farmland in Bishopstone. Whilst photographs captured this amazing sea of red, green and gold I wanted to represent some of the finer details of the plants themselves and the fragility of their petals.
