Item details

This terracotta plant pot has been hand covered in cream twine and painted with copper acrylic paint around the rim.
I’ve added a simple copper wooden heart to the front and sealed it inside and out with satin sealer.
This is a large sized pot measuring approx 15.5 cm across the top, 9cms bottom and 13.5cms deep.
Designed to be used indoors and the finish can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
It looks great on a shelf on its own or as storage on a shelf or with pot pourri perhaps.
If using it for a plant please place the plastic container inside the pot to preserve the finish.
I do have a matching saucer for this pot included with the pot.
I’ve been using a smaller version as a plant pot on my window sill for a few months now and love it!

I really like decorating the plain terracotta pots to create something more bespoke to match my colour schemes at home and hope you also find them attractive and a little bit different.
The twine wrapping around the pot just sort of happened when I was thinking of a chunky, tactile finish as an alternative to paint.
I’ve been using the medium one at home and made this larger size for my shop, however I could make more to match if required.
