I have a swathe of old fashioned marigolds (calendula officinalis) growing in the vegetable plot. They are varied....double, single, dark and pale centred with petals ranging from pale yellow to deep orange. i love them, the bees love them - and they look so sunny against a backdrop of climbing nasturtium and runner bean flowers.
