Description

This small but perfectly formed tealight tray will bring a little bit of colour into every day! As you can see from the photos this is a wonderfully tactile fused glass dish including all seven rainbow shades, measuring 8cm by 8cm, which could also be used as a ring tray next to your sink, or a coin tray next to your bed, or even a place to put your keys when you come in the front door!

One of these or perhaps a pair would make a lovely housewarming, birthday, engagement or wedding gift for a friend or family member, or you could treat yourself! This listing is for a single tealight tray, but it is also available as a pair (£22.50) or a set of 3 (£30) - just send me a message and I can set up a listing just for you.

Your purchase will be carefully wrapped to ensure it will arrive with you safely, then despatched by Royal Mail.

Tealight IS included - don't you hate it when it isn't?

Food safe.

Having completed the industry standard process for annealing these are pretty tough, but please be aware that glass will always be breakable, and broken pieces will have sharp edges.

To keep this clean you can wipe over when necessary with a soft damp cloth, or a squirt of washing up liquid and a good rinse under the tap! Don't use abrasive cleaners.

Inspiration

Items in the Rainbow Squared series feature a mix of shades of each colour of the rainbow - separate pieces of glass are cut by hand from a large sheet, and then carefully positioned on top of a clear base to form the rainbow from corner to corner. The piece is then fused in my specialist glass kiln (named Genevieve) so the separate slivers of glass melt together, forming a single glossy piece of glass. Once it has cooled and I've checked it over, it goes back in Genevieve on a different programme, and over the next twelve hours it slowly takes the shape of the ceramic mould it was placed upon.
