Item details
Clovelly is a pretty, white washed village in North Devon. The walk down to the harbour is very steep and even steeper coming back up! I photographed the boats in the harbour and created a Batik painting. This is a print of the painting. Batik is painting with hot wax to form a barrier then applying dye, the process is repeated until the image is complete, this can take days. I am a member of the Batik Guild.
