Handcrafted needle felted mummy and baby hedgehogs.
Made by stabbing natural wool with very sharp needles to form the shape required.
Each piece takes a lot of time and patience to get the desired effect.
The mother is made using various types of natural wool in beige and brown with a little green holly branch with red berrys. His lovely soft back is made using alpaca wool and also Corriedale,Swaledale and English 56’s is added to get the right effect. A plastic nose and eyes are attached to his face.
The baby is made with beautiful natural brown Mank Loaghtan and Corriedale. He’s carrying a little present home.
