Sadly, due to Dutch Elm disease, Native English Elm is becomingly increasingly hard to source. We were fortunate to secure some logs several years ago from a local tree surgeon and set about milling and drying the timber. Being a more obscure timber, it is usually overlooked by the public when chosing a timber but occasionally we get the chance to play with it. Recently we made three metre breakfast bar and kept it with a live edge. Inspired by the timber, we decided to fashion these coat racks and shelfs with the remaining boards.
