My inspiration for this pattern was the gorgeously soft sportweight pure yak yarn that I handdye; I wanted to design an easy knitting pattern that would make a pretty shawl using just one 100gram skein.
The shawl/scarf is easy to make and is a good introduction to a lacy design for a confident beginner or a quick knit for a more experienced knitter.
It can be worn in several different ways to stay cosy during the cooler months, or thrown around the shoulders as the temperature drops on a summer evening.
