A patchwork of 'couples' I found discarded around London.

Signed and dated original collage, not a print. Never to be reproduced or printed.

It measures 21cms x 21cms, but there is extra border to trim for framing. A frame is not included.

Hand-stitched using conked-out old books, magazines, postcards and junk mail, so very eco-friendly.

£5 from this sale will go to Arts Emergency. This is a small London based charity aiming to ensure university doors are kept open for those most able to benefit from, but least able to pay for education.

In keeping with my eco-friendly ethos, it will arrive in a package made from used magazines and the like. I do not use single-use plastic and parcel tape.

Can be sent as a gift, with words of your choice.

Each of the sixteen squares has been hand-sewn and depicts a pair of people (or in some cases, a trio). You can see Celia Johnson and Trevor Howard in Brief Encounter (1945), a scene from a railway poster by Maurice Greiffenhagen (1926), Virginia Woolf watching her parents read, Audrey Hepburn and Efrem Zimbalist Jr. in Wait Until Dark (1967), a scene from La Dolce Vita (1960), some girls in a Sargent painting, Mick Jagger and Ronnie Wood, a passenger at a refreshment trolley (Paddington Station, 1937), some underground blitz shelterers, the Moomins, Mr and Mrs Clark and Percy, English National Ballet leaflet (photo by Perry Curties), and, a scene from Vertigo (1958).
