Decorative fabric wall hanging measuring 41.5”x9.25”.
I designed and made this wall hanging myself. Each of my pieces are unique and are lovingly made over 2-3 weeks. This piece is completely hand embroidered, quilted and sewn together. There is no machine work on it at all. The stags are all hand embroidered straight onto the linen as are the thistles and wording and I have used genuine Donegal Tweed made here in Ireland as part of the fabric borders around each piece. This item is padded with polyester wadding, is fully backed and is decorated with wooden buttons at the base of each hanging loop. The wooden rod to hang this piece is included and is cut to size. I chose the black/grey and mustard colours for this piece as I felt they would complement both contemporary and traditional interiors. This wall art can be hung on the back of a door as in the pictures or it can hang at the top of a staircase or in your entrance hall to welcome your guests. It is also equally at home in any other room in the house. Each piece will be sent to you gift boxed and carefully wrapped in tissue paper as befits a lovingly made item. This will also enable you to give it as a present to someone perhaps as a wedding or new home gift.

Last Christmas I bought some lovely Tweed fabrics to make my daughter and her new American husband their Christmas stockings and I had some fabric left over. I had also made them patchwork cushions with stags appliquéd onto them and I thought the stags and tweeds went very well together and hence this piece was created. It suits both contemporary and country interiors and stags and tweeds are very in vogue at the moment. I hope that if you purchase this piece you will get as much pleasure from having it as I had making it. Thank you.
