Mongolian Death worm in pot. Caught during an expedition to the Gobi desert. The Death worm is feared for its ability to spit acid, bringing terror from below the sand to the nomads of the region.
Model head mounted in a terracotta pot and solid sand. Pot size is 11 cm diameter and 10cm high, overall height about 20cm.
On Sir Digby’s many expeditions, from the dark forests of Eastern Europe to the barren Mongolian deserts, he discovered and trapped many strange and amazing creatures. Some of these were unknown species, only rumoured of before in myths and legends.
Following the discovery of a secret trophy room behind Sir Digby’s study in Nevermoor Manor, these specimens have now seen the light of day again, and a limited number are available for sale to the discerning collector.
