Star Spawn trophy. In 1881 a meteorite which crashed into a railway siding in Middlesbrough was recovered by Sir Digby. The impact had split the meteorite into several fragments and on the inside of these Sir Digby noticed strange seed-like objects which he planted in his greenhouse. The resulting plants didn’t grow very large but were extermely viscous according to Sir Digby’s notes.
Model mounted on an MDF plaque with a slot bracket on the back to allow it to be hung from a screw.

On Sir Digby’s many expeditions, from the dark forests of Eastern Europe to the barren Mongolian deserts, he discovered and trapped many strange and amazing creatures. Some of these were unknown species, only rumoured of before in myths and legends.
Following the discovery of a secret trophy room behind Sir Digby’s study in Nevermoor Manor, these specimens have now seen the light of day again, and a limited number are available for sale to the discerning collector.
