Measuring around 7cm by 1.5cm, this teeny tiny, gorgeously shiny rainbow lightcatcher is perfect to hang from the mirror in your car, or near a favourite window, where it will catch the light and bounce it around beautifully.
One of these petite slivers of rainbow would be a lovely little gift for a friend or, since it's small enough to be popped in an envelope along with a card, maybe for a niece, nephew, cousin or godchild. The glossy tactile nature of this little treat mean it has wide ranging appeal, so is perfect to keep on hand in case of the sudden realisation there's a birthday closer than you'd realised, or as a little get well soon gift if a friend is under the weather.
Each tiny piece is cut by hand from a sheet of specialist art glass, carefully cleaned and arranged, then into my kiln (named Genevieve) to melt into a single glossy piece. Each rainbow is then individually wire wrapped so it can be securely hung from a loop wherever you choose. If you'd like a hanging ribbon attached to the wire loop, let me know if you'd prefer silver, white, red, or green ribbon - otherwise I'll send without. Also, some start with red glass at the top and end with violet, while others are the opposite - if you have a preference please let me know when you place the order.
Although every item is cooled at a carefully controlled rate to ensure it's as robust as possible, they are still glass so may break if handled carelessly.
