This characterful, circular, 4-5 seat, reclaimed scaffold board dining table was lovingly handmade in my Kent workshop; care has been taken in creating this sturdy item into the finished product shown.

Build Process:
Suitable reclaimed scaffold boards were selected and cut to rough length.
Each boards' edges were cleaned up on my table saw.
All boards were biscuit jointed together as one.
Once dry, the table top was hand planed on both sides.
Undertable supports were securely fitted.
The table top was then cut into a perfect circle and close to final dimensions.
The table's edges were rounded off and everything was sanded repeatedly using progressively finer sandpaper.
2 separate coats of Dark Jacobean Wood Stain were applied to enhance the natural wood grain.
6 separate coats of Ronseal Ultra Hard Satin Varnish were applied (with light sanding between coats), to fully protect the wood.

The steel hairpin legs were selected for this dining table as, not only, are they easily able to support the weight of the table top but are also wonderfully simple in design; they do not not detract from the beauty of the wood, by which I mean not only the wood grain but also the knocks and scrapes endured in its previous life.

In summary, this has truly escaped it's very humble beginnings.

I wanted to see what could be done with well used old scaffold boards that were covered in paint and concrete dust from a previous life...that led me to create this 4-5 seater generously sized circular dining table. I love that the finished product has turned out so well. Essentially something that I would be proud to have in my own home :o)

Please let me know of the hairpin leg colour you'd prefer when making your purchase.

Assembly instructions:
Simply attach the 4 hairpin legs securely onto the underside of the table top, using the supplied bolts.

Care and use instructions:
To clean, simply wipe with a damp cloth.

Despatch and Delivery information:
Your dining table will be securely packaged, usually, within 1 business day and despatched via professional courier as a 2 business day trackable delivery.
