INTERNATIONAL POST - I'm in the process of updating postage for the US and have temporarily removed it from my listings whilst I recalculate the prices to include the new taxes and handling fees which have to be paid prior to my items entering the US. I love embroidery and as an alternative to bear making I decided to make some small embroidered items. I found some small wooden bowls and thought they would be different and totally unique for pincushions.

Full description
This is a hand sewn and hand embroidered larger pincushion.
I have Hand embroidered in purples using various stitches and threads then highlighted with beads.
Hand Sewn onto a natural silk noil fabric which was backed with a piece of cotton, gathered, laced then mounted into a 4" diameter pale wooden bowl, finished with a piece of vintage crochet lace.
The finishing process trying to perfect the shape and size took many hours to complete.
It would make a lovely unique gift as no two will ever be the same.
