MOTHERS DAY SALE ! 10% off everything so why not buy your mum a lovely handmade item . use code MEL500 at the checkout until 29th March 2019.
Quirky handmade wooden paperweight in the form of a nut and bolt which does screw in and out and is made from nicely grained whitebeam and has a decorative yew button to top it off. The weight stands 100mm tall with the screw almost fully down and is 60mm in diameter at its widest point. After being sanded it has been finished with beeswax to a mid shine.
This weight will happily keep your papers tidy and could be the ideal present for husband, dad or brother who like manly things.
I was inspired to make this weight by seeing an oversized nut and bolt in steel in an old magazine article about diy and fixings and an advert for these things included a photo of the above . Mine is handmade and so not as precise as the machine made steel one's but I am sure it will be warmly received for the man cave or living room display.
