Item details

20 years ago my husband sustained a spinal injury which permanently disable him.
Like most people who love their partner, I decided to explore and learn what I could about the nervous system. I have since worked with a fantastic psychologist and now have original licence to produce both Sensory and Motor Homunculus, these were first conceived by the American/Canadian Neurologist Dr. Wilder Penfield and are used in Universities all over the world.
I am a classically trained artist who has been critically acclaimed and have work displayed all over the world. Making these Homunculus takes allot of time and as such I don't really make an money in selling them. Each Homunculus takes in excess of 2 weeks to make.
Most of the figures I make are sold to Universities throughout the world. It is important to me that people learn as much as they can of the human nervous system as this can only help others in the same situation as my husband.
