Made by office equipment specialists, JC King Ltd of London in the early-mid Century, this solid yet unimposing desk will grace any office, home study or student's room. It is exceptionally well made and has been lovingly restored / upcycled to a new life with Annie Sloan Chalk paints and waxed to a soft, durable sheen.

This desk combines traditional build with a modern finish; standing out whilst fitting in. Not only is it an extremely functional piece of furniture, it is utterly bespoke - you will not find another.

The main desk has been painted with Château Grey and polished with clear and dark waxes to accentuate it's true age. The drawers have been smartened up with Danish Oil and lined with textured paper reminiscent of the cogs of industry. The original handles have simply been revived with soap and water; not painted or treated.

The top was covered with faux leather when I discovered it and this was removed with trepidation! However, the wood beneath was clean and was nursed into the 21st Century with a mix of Annie Sloan's Graphite and Olive chalk paints then polished with clear and dark waxes.

The desk measures 92cm wide; 60cm deep and 77cm high. This item can be collected free of charge or alternatively delivery can be arranged for you. Please feel free to send me a message with your postcode and I will be able to obtain an accurate quote for delivery but I am guessing around £60.
