Item details
'Hello Flower' is inspired by 1960s and 1970s floral design motifs. I started it by sketching lots of flowers, then hand cut my favourite one from paper (photo 3), finalising the image in Photoshop. It was then exposed to a silk screen and handprinted at home on the kitchen table (photo 4). I used seven colours simultaneously when printing to create the rainbow gradient coloured effect!
