Silent Protest II, Brincliffe Edge Trees

Silent Protest II, Brincliffe Edge Trees

Description

This is the second of two pieces inspired by a small piece of woodland which stands on the brow of the hill above Nether Edge, an area of Sheffield in which many healthy and important street trees are being threatened with unnecessary felling. Although this piece of woodland is not at risk, the position of these trees seems to represent a symbol of solidarity.

This original drawing would make a perfect gift for someone who appreciates the beauty of trees, dark woodland, nature, or generally enjoys rambling around in the countryside.

This is an original drawing in coloured pencils. This original drawing is built up with many layers of coloured pencil, blended together.
